Welch’s Guide Service specializes in fishing 1 or 2 anglers with the capability of a 3rd angler. Fishing artificial lures for trophy Spotted bass and Largemouth bass in North Georgia. We welcome all types of anglers, from novice to tournament anglers. You will be fishing out of a 22’ Phoenix bass boat, powered with a Mercury 250 Pro XS fourstroke, equipped with Minn Kota Ultrex, Humminbird Helix 12 DI and SI, and Garmin 1022/Livescope. During your trip you will be using some of the best gear on the market, St. Croix rods, Daiwa reels, Strike King, Zoom, Roboworm, and Z-man.

Things to Know Before Your Trip

We supply all fishing tackle, rods, and ice water. You are more than welcome to bring some rods and favorite tackle.

Fishing trip will start at daylight and will meet at a designated meeting place. Keep in mind early mornings can be damp and cool, please bring proper clothing and rain gear.

Things needed for trip: anyone 16yrs and older will need a Georgia fishing license sunscreen, sunglasses, snacks, drinks, (ice water is provided on all charters)

We practice CPR with all fish (Catch. Photo, Release).
