At Crane Creek Vineyards, they like to think that wines made from their grapes are an expression of our unique area. More than 20 acres acres of vines are planted in a variety of grapes, including the European varieties of Gruner Veltliner and Cabernet Franc. They also grow the old world French American hybrid varieties of Chambourcin, Vidal Blanc, Seyval Blanc and Villard Noir along with the modern hybrid Chardonel. The native American varieties Norton and Catawba round out their unique varietal collection.

Crane Creek Vineyards’ goal is to grow the finest regional wine grapes possible and craft these fruits into the finest possible wine. They love what they do and enjoy sharing their passion.

Friday Apertivo (May-November)

Located in the North Georgia Wine Country, one half mile south of Alpine Helen in Nacoochee Village, the winery is open daily for wine tastings.

In addition to a large selection of Georgia grown and produced wines, the tasting room also features a gift shop with gourmet foods and wine specialty items from around the world. We carry imported cheeses and all the fixings for a perfect picnic.

Since 1983, some of the finest award winning Georgia Wines have been produced at Habersham Vineyards & Winery. Habersham’s commitment to quality begins with careful monitoring of the grapes in our vineyard by our Vineyard Manager Matt Chobanian. Attention to detail continues through the crushing, fermentation and aging process. Our Winemaking Team personally sees to each detail of every process.
